Taylor Momsen's Gossip Girl Hair

Gossip Girl is one of my favorite shows, and I think one of the coolest characters is “Little J,” a.k.a. Jenny Humphrey, who is played by Taylor Momsen. Taylor started out in season 1 with fairly boring blonde hair, but by season 2 she was rocking a tough, updated long shag cut that spoke to her character’s love of fashion and rebellion against the Upper East Side mean girls. I think her hair looks amazing, and I’ve been trying to steal the style for myself, using my trusty CHI hair iron. CHI hair tools are the best because they’re easy to use and give great, professional-looking results, even though it’s just me straightening my hair in my own bathroom! Anyhow, here’s how I get Little J’s edgy ‘do: I blow my hair dry using my fingers to ruffle things up and give it some nice texture. Then I use my CHI hair iron to straighten my hair in sections, and I finish with a drop or two of shine serum smoothed over my locks. (That will give you the look shown here.) For an even more outrageous look, use a little pomade or hair wax for a punk rock feel. So cool!
